Tricia McGuire Memorial Award
This award is presented to a medical assistant or other clinical staff member who has made exceptional contributions in immunizations either through creativity and commitment to patient education, quality improvement strategies focused on improving vaccine delivery efficiencies and increasing vaccination coverage rates, or regularly going above and beyond routine expectations.
Education, Strategy, or Process Award
This award recognizes an educational effort, strategy, or process that you, a staff person, or your practice implemented in the past year. Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to infants, childhood, adolescence, adults, vaccine management, or an educational strategy to increase patient awareness (i.e., display or campaign to highlight the importance of vaccination at all stages of life).
Use of Social Media to Educate the Public Award
This award recognizes a practice that has promoted vaccination through social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter). Topics can include COVID-19 and flu vaccination, new RSV vaccines and nirsevimab, the importance of routine vaccination, catching up on missed vaccines, or vaccine safety.
